Exercise
Although not traditionally thought of as "creative" in terms of the arts, we thought that we should list exercise because it is an important form of self-care. Although sometimes it can be difficult to even get out of bed, on the days that you can you should consider going for a walk or doing something more adventurous (as long as you feel up to it, of course).
Examples of fun physical activity can be found below. Check out the table for fun exercises to try each season!

KAYAKINGIf you're lucky enough to live near a lake or a body of water, you should try your hand at kayaking. It can be a fun way to relieve stress.
Remember to use a life vest, even if you know how to swim! |
ROCK CLIMBINGClimbing can be especially rewarding because you have a clear goal: to get to the top. It can be very satisfying once you make it to the top of a rock climbing wall, or if you're free climbing, the top of a mountain!

BIKINGThis can be the least or most intense of workouts, and sometimes we even forget that it's exercise! You may commute to work, or bike for fun, but even if you don't bike every day, it can be great for self care.
